    1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device when you visit a website. This application also uses browser local storage for therapist settings and session keys. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently and to provide information to the website owners.

    2. How We Use Cookies

Talking With Me LTD (Company No. 13172506) uses cookies for the following purposes:

    • Essential Cookies: Required for the application to function properly, including session management and security.
    • Analytics Cookies: Help us understand how visitors interact with our application by collecting anonymous usage data.
    • Preference Cookies: Remember your settings and preferences for a better experience.

    4. Client Viewer - No Cookies

Important: The Client Viewer screen (used by therapy clients to view the EMDR visual stimulus) does not use any cookies, does not store any data in local storage, is not tracked by analytics, and does not load third-party scripts. Fonts on that screen are self-hosted with the application. We have deliberately designed it this way to ensure complete privacy for clients during their therapy sessions. The cookie consent banner does not appear on the Client Viewer screen.

    5. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to collect anonymous information about how visitors use therapist-facing pages. The GA4 tag is loaded only after you accept analytics cookies, and only if a measurement ID is configured. Analytics is not used on Client Viewer pages.

Google Analytics operates in accordance with Google's privacy policy. You can learn more about how Google uses data at Google's Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab).

    6. Managing Cookies

You can manage your cookie preferences in several ways:

    • Cookie settings: Use the banner when it first appears, or open Cookie settings from the footer or the button below at any time.
    • Browser Settings: Most browsers allow you to refuse cookies or delete existing cookies through their settings.
    • Google Analytics Opt-out: Install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on (opens in a new tab).

Please note that disabling cookies may affect the functionality of our application.

    7. Consent Mode

If you accept analytics cookies, we load Google Analytics 4 with Consent Mode v2. Advertising storage stays denied unless you also accept marketing cookies. If you reject analytics, we do not load Google tags at all.

    8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
